First steps

NOW YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR TRAINING BY DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TRAINING CENTRE by law you must pass the required government tests, which are not easy without the proper training. You wisely chose DITC, a Government Driving Standards Agency approved 'ORDIT' training centre - ORDIT stands for the Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers.

ORDIT was formed to help people like you locate instructor training facilities and training of the highest standard. DITC is also a member of the Motor Schools Association, the Driving Instructors Association and a founder member of The Driving Schools Association

AS WELL AS BEING AN ORDIT TRAINER, DITC HAS THE UK'S LARGEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TRAINING CENTRE with the use of a 5,000 sq ft state-of-the-art training area. To be on the Governments ORDIT Register, as DITC has been since ORDIT was formed some years ago, examiners from the Government's Driving Standards Agency regularly inspect these facilities and thoroughly examine the training provided by our Training Officers.

LEARNING WITH DITC CAN BE STRAIGHT FORWARD - We will train you to pass the tests and then give you help that may enable you to take up an instructor's position at one of over 30 of our associated driving schools spread throughout London and the South East of England.

REMEMBER that you can come for training in your spare time during the day, evenings or Saturdays without giving up your job if you are working. We can also arrange more intensive training, if you prefer, consisting of a short period of full time training before each of the three DSA tests. So you can learn at your own pace - the choice is yours.
